18th June 08 - Thomas Smith announced as UK distributor for SAP-Seal products
Thomas Smith Fasteners are pleased to announce that we now hold the UK ditribution rights for SAP-Seal products.
SAP-Seal is a reusable, threaded plastic cap that, when used in combination with a barrier lubricant, resists corrosion and attritional damage.

29th November 07 - I.M.F.T. Workshop
Garton Ltd was pleased to host an Industrial Metal Forming Technologies (I.M.F.T.) group workshop and visit to our site.

28th November 07 - Robert Lench
The 28th November 2007 was a proud day as Garton Ltd was visited by one of the most respected
people in the Fastener Industry -
Robert Lench, former President of the
European Industrial Fasteners Institute (E.I.F.I.).
Mr Lench toured our factory and was enthusiastically received by our employees. Mr. Lench is pictured right with Tim Garton.
1/11/07 - 12 Month Anniversary
We have been in our new, larger premises for 12 months.
As you can imagine, moving 750 Tonnes worth of stock and three companies hasn't been easy but thanks to the hard work of the Garton employees and good planning we are finally settled!
We have also had to take on new employees to cope with the extra work which we have developed.
Thomas Smith Fasteners took on Michael Wilcock (see picture) who has been a tremendous acquisition.
In Michael's short time with us he is already dealing with our export orders as well as dealing with the Trade Counter.
