Vacancy – Fastener Sales Executive

Thomas Smith Fasteners are a very successful Fastener Distributor supplying standard and special fasteners both in UK & worldwide. Our customers include leading national and international companies in many industrial sectors including oil & gas, construction, off road vehicles along with niche specialist sectors in heritage rail and classic cars

Due to retirement the company are now looking to recruit a Fastener Sales Executive to work from our base in Hindley Green, Greater Manager.

This role will be mainly office based.

Key Responsibilities

To manage the key account list to maximise sales and profit. 

Identify new sales opportunities 

Follow up all enquiries and leads 

Visit existing and potential new customers

Criteria 

Must have a Dynamic & Charismatic personality

Sales / business development experience preferred

A Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma is preferred but a proven sales experience and a detailed interest in engineering could be considered.

Candidate must be hardworking, target-driven and be able to work as part of a team. 

Computer literate. 

Clean driving license.
